Good news, Pretty Little Liars fans: Showrunner Marlene King has hit the end of the Season 4 summer finale script. It's all happening!

"Just typed 'the end' on summer finale with @BryanHoldman and @KyleBrown also brainstorming the big finish," Marlene tweeted yesterday (June 24, 2013). Can you believe the writers are already putting the finishing touches on the season?

Obviously, Marlene isn't giving away too much about what goes down when the summer season comes to an end, but she promises it's going to be "BIG & BOLD." And given that Marlene has promised both answers and closure this season, we're hoping that the finale will provide plenty of both.

Interestingly, while Marlene and Co. were still working on this script until recently, she must have had a pretty good idea of where it was going to leave off, because the cast and crew have already filmed the Halloween episode. Given that this year's Halloween episode is not a flashback — indeed, it's the episode that introduces us more deeply to Ravenswood and sends Caleb on his way to the new show — that means the writers have to make the end of the finale work with what they've already written in the Halloween episode.

Are you excited for the finale? What questions do you hope get answered? Sound off in the comments below!
