It's July 5, and if you're anything like us, you're feeling like hitting the gym after yesterday's Fourth of July festivities. Well, if you're looking for inspiration, you're in luck: Pretty Little Liars star Holly Marie Combs (Ella Montgomery) recently dished some great fitness tips to Shape.
Hiking! Holly says she and her boyfriend hike every morning — a fun way to stay shape, if you live in the mountains like Holly. "We have no excuse not to," she explains.
Pilates for the win. Holly also loves pilates, explaining, "in between my first and second child Pilates helped my body a lot. In between my second and third I had to amp it up a bit with kickboxing training, which I did until I was six months pregnant with Kelley."
What's on her playlist? Want to get pumped like Holly? She says her workout playlist features "Matt Kearney, Radical Something, and a little Metallica thrown in for good measure."
Holly isn't alone in being healthy. It should come as no surprise that Holly also praises the Pretty Little Liars girls for their healthy habits. “The PLL's roll in with green tea and coconut waters, vegan lunches and juice cleanses. Best of all they are strong, not just skinny. They are fit and devoted to their own health," she says. "They are impressive individually and as a group."
