With Aria (Lucy Hale) and Jake spending so much time together, what does that leave Ezra (Ian Harding) to do (besides decipher seven-year-olds’ drawings)? Perhaps not much in the short-term, but Ezra’s screen time will be rocketing in the second half of Season 4, according to Pretty Little Liars writer Maya Goldsmith.

About to write 417 and there is so much Ezra in it that if Ezra was a slushy, 417 would give you brainfreeze,” Maya tweeted yesterday.

@Maya_Goldsmith you are an enabler,” PLL director Norman Buckley awesomely teased. “Feeding the frenzy, making the Ezrians circle the boat like hungry sharks.  Yikes.”

Whether Maya throws us Ezrians another morsel or not, this is pretty exciting stuff. We knew things would be heating up between Aria and Ezra in the winter premiere (Season 4, Episode 14: “Who’s in the Box”), but we weren’t sure if it would go anywhere (after all, PLL threw us a red herring of an Ezria reunion just last week in Season 4, Episode 7). We suppose Ezra screen time doesn’t necessarily correlate with Ezria screen time, but - no, it kind of actually does. Bring on the brain freeze!
