At the start of Season 4, Pretty Little Liars boss lady Marlene King promised fans answers, but we didn't think one of the central mysteries of the teen murder mystery would be answered in the first half of the season!

Back when Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Janel Parrish at the 2013 Do Something Awards in Hollywood, the little liar told us, "You are going to get some major answers at the end of this season, I promise. One of them being who Red Coat is. You will find out definitely who she is."

O-M-G. We've known about the Red Coat reveal since the beginning of the season, but what other "major answers" could Janel be talking about? Could she be referring to whether or not Ali is alive? Marlene previously tweeted“You will know if Ali is alive by the end of the summer." We've speculated that Ali could be Red Coat, but it looks like the Liars won't discover the true fate of their BFF until Season 4, Episode 12: “Now You See Me, Now You Don’t.” And that’s something to seriously look forward to!

Janel also opened up about what we can expect from Mona (who she called "seemingly omnipotent") now that she took the fall for Wilden's murder

"There’s a lot going on with her," she said. "It’s hard to keep track of her — she’s a crafty one! I think the best thing about Mona is that you never know what to expect from her. She has a bunch of layers; she never quite gives all her cards away. So I think that’s what is fun about watching her character."

Well, that sounds troubling. We know Mona has her own agenda, which may or may not bode well for the Liars. We're not quite sure what gAme Mona is playing. Did she confess to Wilden's murder to protect Hanna, or to get back to Radley for intel? Looks like we'll have to wait and see.

PLL fans, what do you think Mona is hiding? Can the Liars trust her? Sound off in the comments!
