Pretty Little Liarsnewest hunk, Jake (Ryan Guzman), is pretty damn perfect. He’s sweet, sensitive, insightful, and gives Toby’s abs a run for their money. Aria is one lucky gal. But can we trust him? You tell us!

No way! He’s way too perfect.

Ryan sure has insinuated himself into the Montgomery household quickly. Not only is he dating Aria, but he’s giving both Montgomery teenagers self-defense lessons (and, apparently, having heart-to-hearts with Mike in between roundhouse kicks). When Aria told him the story of Ezria and how she wasn’t really over Ezra - a tale that would have anyone justifiably running in the other direction - Jake took it all in stride, and still wants to try dating Aria. We were willing to go along with Jake’s near-perfect persona until we noticed him wandering around by himself right before Jenna was found floating facedown in a nearby lake. Maybe we’re just being paranoid, or maybe there’s more to Jake than meets the eye. Does he have some connection to “A,” Cece, or Red Coat? Is he using Aria?

Yep. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

On the other hand, who wouldn’t want to date Aria? She’s beautiful, smart, and independent. She’s a catch! (If you skip past that whole “A” thing...) Jake wasn’t even the one who initiated things with Aria. She was the one who signed up for self defense classes, and she was the one who surprise-kissed him at her very first lesson. It would take some serious scheming on “A”/Cece/Red Coat’s part to set-up their relationship. Maybe Aria has just lucked out with another great guy. Maybe Jake has absolutely nothing to do with the “A” game. Stranger things have happened...
