Next week is the penultimate episode of the Pretty Little Liars Season 4 summer season (Season 4, Episode 11: "Bring Down the Hoe), and we're desperate to know what goes down at the hoedown. Fortunately, the promo for the episode gives us some clues, so we've taken a close look to see what we can learn.

We're pretty sure that the footage from next week starts about 10 seconds into this promo (the rest is potentially from the finale), so that's what we'll look at.

More in Ali's basement. At :11 we see a shot of someone messing with the holes in the floor at Ali's house. It looks like someone is using a knife or something to attack the Liars through it, though that could be cut in misleading ways. Could that be related to the eye looking through a small hole at :14?

Time to get country! Throughout the promo we see that just about everyone in town has gone to some sort of hoedown night — including Red Coat (:20). And there will be line dancing! So that should be fun.

Does Spencer tell the Liars about Toby's mom? The voice over threatens that a "heartbreaking truth" will come out. Then we see Spencer in a conversation with the other Liars (:15), followed by Spence and Toby having a tearful conversation in a car. "I've had to chose between you and them," we then see Spencer tell Toby at the hoedown (:18). He looks angry, and replies, "And you chose them." Sounds to us like Spencer tells the other Liars about Toby's quest to find out the truth about his mom, though we could be wrong.

Emily on the attack? Near the end of the promo, it looks like Em and Spencer spot Red Coat at the hoedown, and at :24 we see Em pick up a hoe. Is she going to go after Red Coat with it?

Red Coat adventures. Not only do we see Red Coat in the dance, but we also see her hiding behind a truck as Spencer tries to start the car (:23).
