Wait, it's the end of August already? Really? How? It's hard to believe, but we're only a day away from the Pretty Little Liars Season 4 summer finale (Season 4, Episode 12: “Now You See Me, Now You Don’t”), and every Pretty Little Liars fan is desperate to know what secrets the final installment of the summer will hold.
Fortunately, the sneak peeks for the episode give us a few clues about what we can expect from the highly anticipated finale. Here's what we can learn from them:
Will Travis pull through? If you thought Ashley Marin's problems were definitely going to be solved by Travis's confession, think again. In this clip from the episode, Travis is asked to make a positive ID of the woman he saw leaving before the shots were fired the night of Wilden's death, but when Ashley steps forward from the police lineup, he remains silent. "I'm not sure I can do this," he says after a long pause. Will he buck up and make the ID, or will worry for his family override his sense of right?
The Liars get a message. In this clip, the Liars receive a present from "A": a box of magic eight balls, one for each Liar. But "A" isn't leaving the Liars' future vague. These magic eight balls tell a very specific tale. If Ashley Marin goes free, the message says, "you'll hear from me."
Word War "A". Emily's reaction to this threat is all guts: "I say bring it," she declares. "Maybe then she'll leave our parents alone." However, Spencer is a bit more cautious. "Or did she just declare World War 'A'?" she wonders.
Back to Ravenswood. In case you somehow missed the memo, in this sneak peek we see that the Liars are back in the creepy town of Ravenswood.
And a magic act is in town. Where else would you have a creepy clown/mime/magician insist on dragging Aria on stage to take part in a magic trick but Ravenswood? We have a feeling this won't end well...
"A"'s plan. Based on Spencer saying, "Well, if 'A' wanted us to watch him make a girl disappear, we're right on time," it sounds like a message from "A" is what brings the Liars back to Ravenswood.
Ms. Grunwald is back. We also see Carla Grunwald in the crowd. Hopefully she'll help the Liars out more this time around.
