On Pretty Little Liars, high school English teacher Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) did a lot more than just grade papers. He quickly fell for one of his students, Aria (Lucy Hale), and their relationship has become a fan favorite.
Now that Pretty Little Liars is getting its own spin off — the eerie horror drama Ravenswood, which will premiere on October 22 — it’s time to cast a new hot, young teacher. So which actor is up for the job? That would be Grey’s Anatomy actor Justin Bruening, who plays April’s hot paramedic fiance, Matthew.
The Hollywood Reporter reports the news, and the site confirms that Justin’s arc will span multiple episodes. We’re not sure if Ravenswood plans to use the hot-for-teacher storyline, but with three girls in the core cast, it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
While the drama in Pretty Little Liars focuses around the mysterious “A” and her unending quest to torture the girls in Rosewood, Pennsylvania, folks in the nearby town of Ravenswood have an even more frightening foe to deal with. The town has suffered under a deadly curse for generations, and the show’s series premiere will find five strangers — including PLL’s Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) — suddenly thrown together when they realize that this fatal curse connects them all.
