Now that we've had some time to recover from Pretty Little Liars' epic Season 4 summer finale, it's time to analyze all the craziness that just went down in the first half of the teen murder mystery's fourth season. We've already told you about our favorite and least favorite episodes of the season, and now we're going to focus on the reason we tune in week after week: the OMG-inducing shocks and surprises.

So, which shocking moments stood out to us the most? Here’s our five favorite jaw-dropping moments from the season so far:

EzrA. Obviously, the biggest jaw-dropper of the season was Ezra walking into the "A" lair and flipping out. We're not sure exactly how this twist will play out, but in the moment all we could think was W.T.F. — and we mean that in the best way.

Mona turns herself in. Mona has never struck us as self-sacrificing, so finding out she'd turned herself in for Wilden's murder was a fantastic moment. Oh, and that knowing smile of hers at the end was just the icing on the cake. Was she doing it out of love for Hanna or did she have her own game plan? We're still not entirely sure what's going on with her, and we love it.

Melissa's been protecting Spencer?! The most shocking thing about Spencer and Melissa's face-off in Episode 4 was the fact that Melissa actually gave Spencer some answers. Not many, but we thought we'd never get anything else out of Spencer's secretive older sis.

Hanna gets arrested! While nothing much actually came of Hanna's arrest at the end of Episode 5, at the time it was a major shocker that left us desperate to see more.

Like, everything about Wren in Episode 10. Episode 10 was just shock after shock when it came to Wren. First there was his session with Mona, where she made cryptic remarks about his loyalty. Then he made shady phone calls, messed with Mama Hastings, and sketched Red Coat. What is his deal? Finding out Melissa is living at his place in the summer finale was also a pretty big WTF moment.

There were a couple of other moments — particularly Jenna almost drowning (remember when we thought she was dead?) and "A" crashing a car into Em's house — that would have made the list, but alas, the promos gave those twists away, so we were prepared.

What was your favorite shock of the season? Let us know in the comments below.
