Almost a year later and we’re still not really sure what went down on the Halloween train in the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 Halloween special. Luckily, Pretty Little Liars showrunner Marlene King has set a few things straight about the nefarious forces at work on that fateful train ride. What did she tell Entertainment Weekly about the epic episode?
“Well I think there are also two entities working there,” Marlene told EW regarding the Halloween train. “There is the Uber ‘A’ entity but there were also the N.A.T. Club members on that train, and so there may have been dueling nemesis on that train who had desire to harm the PLLs.”
Does that mean both Uber “A” and the N.A.T. Club are out to get the Liars because, if so, that's a bummer. It’s impressive the Liars have stayed relatively unscathed for this long. What we want to know is: which one of these entities was the one that tried to push Aria off of a moving train? Because the Liars should probably focus on hunting down that rather dangerous force.
And did Wilden fall firmly into the N.A.T. Club category? He obviously had some kind of antagonistic alliance with Melissa (former N.A.T. Club member), but Melissa claims she had no idea Wilden meant to kill the Liars. Could Wilden have been playing for both sides? Was that what got him killed?
Who do you think was trying to kill the Liars on the Halloween train? Uber “A,” the N.A.T. Club, or both? Share your theories in the comments below!
