Pretty Little Liars has been Noel Kahn-less for a while now, but that may change soon. Portrayer Brant Daugherty’s Lifetime show Army Wives was sadly canceled after seven seasons, the network announced today.

TVLine reports that the series will end with a two-hour retrospective special in 2014 featuring the show’s cast, as the Season 7 finale finished up in June 2013. This gives Brant time to dance his way to the top on Dancing With the Stars 2013 and hopefully return as Noel sometime in PLL Season 4B.

Brant noted in a recent interview with The Backlot that he wasn’t sure if he would have a job at the end of DWTS since Army Wives’ fate was still up in the air and ABC Family confirmed that he’s not in any upcoming PLL episodes. However, he was thankful for his time on the Lifetime show regardless, raving about his “amazing time” with the cast and crew.

“It was definitely the most different from myself than I’ve played thus far in many ways. I, in my personal life, have so much respect for our soldiers but that’s not the kind of lifestyle that I have. It definitely took a lot of training and discipline to get into that mentality,” he told The Backlot. “I had an amazing time on the show and the cast and crew are really like a big family and they welcomed me with open arms.”

We wish Brant the best of luck on DWTS and hope to see him on the Army Wives special and Pretty Little Liars soon! Are you surprised his show was canceled? Sound off below.
