Fans of Pretty Little Liars may be happy to hear that two more of PLL author Sara Shepard’s other book series have been picked up for adaptation from major networks. What will these new fictional worlds look like, and do they have anything in common with Pretty Little Liars? Read on to find out!

According to Deadline, the CW is working to adapt The Perfectionists, a yet-to-be-released young adult book series by Sara. Though few details are known about the books, the plot will revolve around a murder mystery just like its PLL cousin! The series will be written and executive produced by Arika Lisanne Mittman, who has previously worked on Showtime’s Dexter, and is just one of two new Shepard book-based series recently announced.

Sara’s book series, Heiresses, was also recently picked up for a small screen adaptation (by the Bravo television network). Heiresses will alleged follow a group of girls who are heiresses to their grandfather’s billion-dollar diamond business. When one of their number, the remaining girls are left to solve the mystery before they becomes the next victim. Sounds like a plot just as delicious to watch/speculate about as PLL.

The Perfectionists and Heiresses will be the third and fourth of Sara’s books to be adapted into a television series. (R.I.P. The Lying Game.) We wonder if they will go the direction of PLL still holding strong in its fourth season with a new spin-off or The Lying Game canceled after two seasons. We’ll have to wait and see!
