The Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Halloween special threw a major curveball our way, confirming once and for all that Alison really is alive. That means we have to look at everything that's happened on the show in a whole new light especially when it comes to all the "dreams" and "hallucinations" the Liars had of Ali. Those might be the real deal.

Being the obsessive fans we are, we immediately went back and re-watched all of Ali's appearances, and now we're going over them with a fine-toothed comb. We've already considered the scene where Ali visited Hanna in the hospital, her life-saving run-ins with Emily and Aria, and her first convo with Spencer. Now it's time to look at what happened when she visited Spencer in Radley in Season 3, Episode 23.

Need a refresher? Watch the video for yourself here:

So, what did Ali have to say for herself?

"Didn't your mother have this?" The scene opens with Spencer walking in on Ali, who's just chilling, humming to herself and looking at a record. She seems completely nonchalant. Is it possible she'd been hiding out at Radley for a while?

"Is it just me, or was sixth grade the best year ever?" This comment seems like a throwaway line, and probably is, but could it be a clue? Did something important happen to Ali in sixth grade?

"You didn't even know me when you knew me." This seems pretty true to us. Ali had secrets upon secrets; clearly her life was far more complicated than the Liars ever knew.

"No one ever tells you that the practice is so much more fun than the real thing." Hmmm. This could be a hint that Ali's interactions with boys (for instance, Board Shorts) went south, which is why practice is better. Or maybe it's even a hint that she harbors some feelings for Emily, who she "practiced" kissing with...

"Girls fight much dirtier than boys." Spencer had been remembering a time Ali had showed up at a house with a mysterious bloody lip. This suggests a woman is the one who hurt her. But who? And is that who Ali is in hiding from now?

"It's in there." For once Ali actually gives a Liar an answer, leading Spencer to Mona's hidden nurse outfit and the CeCe Drake visitor pass. What truth was she trying to help Spencer find? Is this a clue that CeCe was the one who hurt her? Mona?
