Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) may very well be "A" on Pretty Little Liars, and that means we have to look at everything he's ever done at the show entirely differently. The teen murder mystery has already been on air for three and a half seasons, and that means a whole lot of scenes we need to reexamine. Is it any surprise that every week on Flashback Friday we like to revisit a memorable moment from seasons past?

This week, we want to return to one of the scenes many fans are pointing to as an early clue that Ezra is "A" — the time that Noel tried to blackmail him with a very interesting letter.

In this scene, Noel, who has learned of Aria and Ezra's relationship, not-so-subtly threatens to turn Ezra in to the principle unless Ezra replaces the "C" he gave Noel on a paper with — you guessed it! — an "A", which he writes on the paper while looking at Ezra. It's even an "A" written in red, like the "A" always is in the Pretty Little Liars promotional material.

Coincidence? Possibly. After all, if you're going to blackmail your teacher, you might as well aim for the highest mark. But we know the writers and directors love to put in subtle visual clues, and this could be one of them.

Plus, this plotline resolves itself when "A" gets Noel himself in trouble with the school, saving Ezra. We always thought it was odd that "A" decided to help someone close to the Liars at that moment, but if Ezra really is "A", or involved with the "A" team, that suddenly makes a lot more sense.

Check the scene out yourself below.
