During tonight’s Glee Season 5, Episode 8: "Previously Unaired Christmas,” Santana (Naya Rivera) and Rachel (Lea Michele) walked in on Kurt (Chris Colfer) in a very compromising position with a man who is very much NOT Blaine (Darren Criss).
Kurt was sitting on a table in their NYC apartment, straddling a sexy, shirtless guy. But no, it wasn’t Elliott “Starchild” (Adam Lambert). (That might be happening in February. Possibly. We’re still not sure yet.)
But at least for now, Kurt wasn’t cheating on Blaine at all. See, the December 5 Glee episode was an “unaired” ep, and was set during Christmas 2012, still not too long after Kurt and Blaine’s Season 4 breakup, so Kurt was still nursing a broken heart.
Kurt makes out with Cody (Bryce Johnson), a superhot, clothing-adverse Santa he meets at a local mall. (Fans of Pretty Little Liars will immediate recognize Cody as Detective Wilden [RIP!], the shady cop who hooked up with Hanna’s mom.)
Our poor, heartbroken Hummel flirts shamelessly with Cody throughout that wacky, alcohol-fueled rendition of “Christmas Don’t Be Late (The Chipmunk Song).” Later, Pezberry walks in on them in the middle of a very steamy makeout sesh.
“I’m in New York. I’m single. I’m available,” Kurt rationalizes. “Here’s to being naughty this Christmas!” What could be wrong with having a bit of fun?
Well, here’s what could go wrong. When you invite some rando stranger into your apartment, then pass out drunk on your couch... it’s very, very possible that said rando stranger just might ransack said apartment and steal all of your nice things.
Poor Kurt ends up sitting on the table, his hands and feet tied together, a gag over his mouth, and wearing a pair of reindeer antlers. It was a case of role-playing gone wrong. Very, very wrong. “Then he just admitted that he was only here to rob us blind, anyway,” a distraught... and very embarrassed... Kurt later tells the girls. He makes Santana promise never to tell Blaine.
Do you really think that Kurt will cheat on Blaine with Elliott when Glee returns for "Frenemies" in Season 5, Episode 9? Or, seeing how this ill-conceived hookup went terribly, horribly wrong... do you think he'll play it safe and stay far, far, away? Hit the comments with your theories.
