We’re not sure if Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) was extra creepy in the Pretty Little Liars Halloween episode or if we were just reading more into everything he does now that we know the high school English teacher is probably “A.” Whatever the cause of the creepiness, it looks like it’s going to continue in the winter premiere. What deets did TV Guide spill in their recent spoiler chat?

According to TV Guide, Ezra is acting “extra-creepy” in the winter premiere (Season 4, Episode 14: “Who’s in the Box?”). Their chief example: the fact that he’s teaching his students Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Which, we agree, is totally ballsy. Ezra’s life is more-or-less mimicking the classic novella: one man, split into a good side and a bad side. Is Ezra’s situation really as black-and-white as that, or is there more to his “A” story?

We’re not the only ones who are in on the Jekyll & Hyde  joke. In this sneak peek, we see Mona telling Ezra how much she’s enjoying the assignment. Does she know about Ezra’s seemingly split identity? And, if so, does Ezra know that she knows? There is so much possible subtext to this scene we can’t wait to see it in context! We also wonder what other shady behavior Ezra might be breaking out in the winter premiere. Will we see more of  the extensive surveillance operation he has going on most of Rosewood’s residents? And what is going on with he and Aria? January 7 is still too far away!

Do you think Ezra is acting super sketchy with his assignments? Sound off in the comments below!
