Though the much-anticipated Season 4, Episode 19 (“Shadow Play”) of Pretty Little Liars will focus on Spencer and Toby, that doesn’t mean our other Liars won’t be getting something to do in the noir-inspired ep. Check out this first look at what Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) will look like in the 40s-style installment...

In the photo, which Sasha Pieterse posted on Instagram, Ali and Hanna look nearly identical with their wavy blonde locks and bright red lipstick. It looks like Hanna is sporting a polka-dotted top and fur-lined red jacket, and Ali is wearing some killer diamond earrings. What are these two up to?

It’s hard to speculate what this photo might mean as we’re still unclear on what structure the episode will be. PLL writer Joseph Daugherty has said it will be like Wizard of Oz reversed,” in the sense that most of it will be in black-and-white with a bit in color. But could the reference also refer to some sort of dream-like world Spencer visits? Perhaps, she falls and hit her head a la Dorothy, waking up in a Spencer Tracy film. Because we all know that’s the kind of thing Spencer would dream about.

If that speculation isn’t enough to get you excited for the ep, maybe the fact that it’s Sasha Pieterse’s favorite episode will do the trick: “#419 my favorite episode of #prettylittleliars by FAR...a lot of incredible photos coming your way,” Sasha tweeted in September. Which brings us to another exciting feature of this promo photo: the fact that Alison is in it at all. Does this mean that she will stay in Rosewood following her miraculous resurrection? We hope so!
