In the Canadian promo for the Pretty Little Liarswinter premiere, we see Ezra (Ian Harding) asking Aria (Lucy Hale) to share in a secret with him. What information is Ezra asking Aria to hide? We speculate below!

His “A” Status

It seems unlikely that Ezra would be giving up the game after keeping his “A” status secret for so long. It also seems unlikely that the show won't milk this particular piece of dramatic irony for at least a few episodes. But, hey, a collective Ezria as “A” has dramatic potential, too. There are fans who have speculated that Aria has been in on Ezra’s “A”-ness since the beginning. We have trouble believing that, but perhaps he will tell his quasi-girlfriend now? If he has any hope of not losing Aria with this secret, it should probably come from him.

Their Renewed Relationship

A more likely possibility is that Ezria is back together again because, really, how long could these two really stay away from one another? and have decided to keep their relationship a secret. Again. Ezra is back in the halls of Rosewood High as a teacher, so this explanation makes a lot of sense. Even if it is a bit redundant. The question is: will Aria go along with it? She’s kept their relationship a secret once before. Will she be willing to do it again?

Ali’s Survival

We know from one of the sneak peeks that the Liars have agreed not to tell anyone Ali’s secret (aka that the allegedly dead teenager is decidedly not dead). Has Aria made an exception with Ezra? That would be one terrible exception to make, considering the high school teach seems to be the one after Alison. But, Aria does so not know that. This would also make for some crazy dramatic irony for the fans, who know that Ezra is the one person Aria should not confide in about this. The confession scene would be delightfully agonizing to watch.
