It’s back! After months off the air, Pretty Little Liars has returned for it’s Season 4 winter premiere (Season 4, Episode 14: “Who’s in the Box”). And boy, has the game shifted! We’re not living with not one, but two shocking new realities: Ali has actually been alive all this time and Ezra is “A”. [Cue the ominous music.]

But speaking of music, one of the many things we love about the show is all the cool tunes we hear over the course of each episode. We’ll be updating this post throughout the episode, so stay tuned (and keep refreshing) for updates.

Song: "This Is What Makes Us Girls" by Lana Del Rey

Lyrics:

Remember how we used to party up all night

Sneaking out and looking for a taste of real life

Drinking in the small town firelight

(Pabst Blue Ribbon on ice)

Sweet sixteen and we had arrived

Walking down the streets as they whistle, "Hi, hi!"

Stealin' police cars with the senior guys

Teachers said we'd never make it out alive

There she was my new best friend

High heels in her hands, swayin' in the wind

While she starts to cry, mascara runnin' down her little Bambi eyes:

"Lana, how I hate those guys."

This is what makes us girls

We all look for heaven and we put our love first

Somethin' that we'd die for, it's our curse

Don't cry about it, don't cry about it

This is what makes us girls

We don't stick together 'cause we put our love first

Don't cry about him, don't cry about him

It's all gonna happen

Song: "Things I'll Later Lose " by Lily & Madeleine

Scene: Ezra and Aria talking in the cabin.

Lyrics:

Ticket stubs

The movie was all of our love in one afternoon

The sun has bent and faded them

And just like us they're gone too soon

I have to ask what's the use

In finding these things I'll later lose

The dress that I wore in June

The way you walked free out of the room

The note you wrote, the way it spoke

And where it sits now, always in view

I have to ask what's the use

In finding these things I'll later lose

I can't find you darling

I can't find you darling

I've been hearing things

And I've been losing sleep

Cause I can't find you darling

Song: "Train" by Chris Arena

Lyrics:

I'm gonna ride this train until you need a ride

Cause New York never felt so big as it did tonight

It's such a lonely ride wishing it were right on this train

If only it were right the city would seem brighter tonight

But now your in the world, looking for your stone

Your shooting in the dark wherever you would turn

So tired of the ride wishing it were right on this train

But it doesn't help to hide-dreaming you tonight on this train

Cause tonight the city has no light

One last ride the city has no light

Im gonna ride this train till it seems alright

New York felt so big when your at my side

Its such a lonely ride in a city thats so bright and so dark

If only it were right the city would seem brighter tonight

Cause tonight the city has no light

One last ride the city has no light

One last ride....
