Guess who’s getting a mention in this week’s episode of Pretty Little Liars? CeCe Drake (Vanessa Ray), aka the number one suspect in Wilden’s murder. According to this sneak peek, the police are hot on CeCe’s trail. Did she actually kill Wilden?

Yes, she was paid to kill him. We know from “A”’s lair that CeCe was on his payroll, but what for? We never imagined murder would be on her task list, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility. Especially given that Wilden could have been causing trouble for Ezra, who has been trying to operate his “A” game under the radar. There’s also the Aria factor to consider. According to Melissa, Wilden was the Queen of Hearts on the Halloween train, and presumably the one who tried to kill Aria. Even if it wasn’t him, if Ezra believed that Wilden tried to kill Aria, that could have been his motive to farm out the murder.

Yes, she killed him for Ali. Of course, CeCe could have killed Wilden for free. After all, we saw him manhandling the blonde right before she left town. Was she afraid for herself or for Alison. The more we think about it, the more likely it seems that Ali and CeCe are working together -- they were both Red Coats in Ravenswood, and CeCe was one of Ali’s closest confidantes. Was Wilden one of the people after Alison? (Because, at this point, it seems like there may have been multiple people after Ali.) And, if so, did CeCe kill him to keep her BFF safe?

No, she’s been framed. Conversely, maybe CeCe has absolutely nothing to do with Wilden’s murder? There were plenty of people who wanted him dead, and any one of them could have done the murdering and pinned it on the flighty shop owner. We’re inclined not to believe that CeCe was the one who did it if only because it is the obvious answer right now. If the show aims to be unpredictable (which it normally does), then the murder was probably committed by someone else.

Do you think CeCe killed Wilden? Why or why not? Sound off in the comments below!
