There is one big question hanging over the Pretty Little Liars Season 4: Is Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) really "A"? We're constantly on the lookout for more evidence for or against this painful possibility. So each week, we're going to round up the most compelling clues from the latest episode to help us theorize about why Rosewood's hottest teach was in that lair.

So, read on for our biggest takeaways from Season 4, Episode 16 ("Close Encounters").

Clues Ezra IS "A"

The dark side. This week, we got a good look at Ezra's dark and angry side. We know "A" has to be a twisted person, and watching Ezra yell at that woman confirmed that he has a real dark side.

The Maggie story. Is anyone buying Ezra's convoluted story about spending the day talking to lawyers because he wants to see Malcolm? Because we sure aren't.

Knives for Jake. Jake tells Aria what he saw. Aria questions Ezra. Jake ends up with knives in his foot. Coincidence? We think not.

Clues Ezra ISN'T "A"

He lost control in public. "A" constantly seems like he's in total control. Seeing Ezra lose it in public, while scary, makes us question if he's really uber-"A". We pointed out the same thing last week. He just comes across as too sloppy to be the head honcho. There's definitely something up with him, but maybe it isn't being the big bad.
