During the most recent episode of Pretty Little Liars (Season 4, Episode 17: “Bite Your Tongue”), Hanna had the clever idea of trying to find out a clue to the identity of who was really buried in Ali's grave by checking dental records at her dentist. Unfortunately, her trip took a turn for the creepy when "A" interfered, but that doesn't mean the audience was left without any clues.

The tag at the end of the episode showed "A" shredding documents from the dentist, which means Hanna was probably onto something "A" would rather she not find. More specifically, the short scene focused on "A" shredding a specific patient sign-in sheet. And it looks like that sheet might hide a clue.

As you can see in the screenshot from the scene above (click to enlarge even further), the 6th name down on the sheet is "C. Cavanaugh." Yes, Cavanaugh. As in Toby's family.

Coincidence? We doubt it. As showrunner Marlene King says, there are no coincidences in Rosewood, so there's probably a reason this familiar name is present on the sheet the tag focused on.

That said, we're not quite sure who C. Cavanaugh is. Toby's mother was named Marion, and in Season 4, Episode 2 we learned that his father's name was Daniel, at least according to the obituary for his mom. So, what gives? Who is "C"?

Well, here's another interesting connection: as many clever fans have noted, there was a "Chris Cavanaugh" who had signed into the school for the blind on the night Ali went missing. That's got to be intentional, right? And this is probably the same person again, right?

But who could Chris Cavanaugh be? It's possible it's Jenna's mother. Chris could be short for a name like Christine, and it's possible she took Toby's father's name after they married. Maybe she's more involved than we think?

Or perhaps it's something more extreme than that. Do the Cavanaughs have a secret child? Or maybe "Chris Cavanaugh" is a cover name someone else is using...
