Usually, most of our favorite Pretty Little Liars quotes are on the humorous side. But this week? Not so much. During February 18’s Season 4, Episode 20: “Free Fall,” Aria finally discovered that her entire relationship with Ezra was built around a lie.

That first time they met in the cafe? Yeah, he already knew who she was. Clearly, this episode was a shocking one for Aria. Here’s a look back at all the drama that went down... brought to you by some of the night’s best quotes.

Way to break the news to her gently, Spence...

Spencer: “He’s “A,” Aria. Ezra is board shorts. He tried to kill Ali and he’s been torturing us ever since.”

Not even remotely convincing. Especially with the crazy eyes.

Spencer: “I’m not crazy, okay? You just can’t see. How can you guys not see what’s happening? I can’t deal with this anymore.”

Sorry, dude. Mona’s just not that into you.

Mike: “I was kind of hoping you’d say another word. One that rhymes with glove?”

“Kind of,” Spencer? Only “kind of?”

Spencer: “I know that my credibility with you guys kind of got decimated today, but Ezra is “A.” I’m sure of it.”

Bringing up Radley? And the time she thought Toby had died? That’s low, Ezra.

Ezra: “That’s my point. Seeing a motorcycle helmet and a tattoo is enough to unravel her completely.”

Aria starts to catch on. Atta girl!

Aria: “Hey, how did you know about that? The tattoo part? How did you know that Spencer had only seen the helmet and the tattoo. I don’t think that was included in any of the reports or anything.”

Maybe because you’re chasing her through the dark woods, screaming like a crazy person?

Ezra: “Aria, why are you hiding from me? Aria? ARIA!! Why are you doing this? Just come out and talk to me!”

Ezra comes clean to Aria... Finally!

Ezra:  “Yes, yes, I know. I lied. I wanted to tell you so many times, but I was afraid.”

Aria isn’t buying it.

Aria: “NOTHING you say will change anything!  I don’t even know who you are!”

Now that’s a tough pill to have to swallow.

Aria:  “Did you know who I was when we met?”

Ezra:  “Yes, I did. I knew who all of you were.”

What do you think? Are his feelings truly genuine?

Ezra: “I promise you, though. I didn’t know I was going to fall in love with you. I’ve lied about a lot of things. But i have never lied to  you, not once, about how I feel about you.”
