On the most recent episode of Pretty Little Liars (Season 4, Episode 20: “Free Fall”), Ezria fans breathed a sigh of relief when it was revealed that Ezra is, in fact, not “A.” He’s just a reporter who was hellbent on writing a “true crime” novel about Ali’s disappearance. But after years spent investigating in Rosewood and following the Liars is it possible Ezra found out about “A” and his schemes and just turned the other cheek to the Liars’ suffering?

“No, no, no, no. I wouldn't say that,” executive producer Oliver Goldstick told E! Online. “We could look back at other episodes and see that he even got a message. I believe it was in episode five of season one, ‘A’ was on Aria's phone and he read it and they got in a fight and he said to her, ‘You told people about our relationship. If A knows, how about B and C?’”

He added: “We never wanted to commit to him knowing that the girls had been being tormented like that, because that would've been cruel.”

Ezra may be a creeper for lying to Aria, but at least he didn’t knowingly ignore the Liars’ torment. However, given the fact that Ezra did so much stalking, we’re a little surprised he knows nothing about “A.” How is that possible? Either Ezra was the worst investigative reporter ever, or he knows more than he’s willing to admit. Is it possible his original idea of a “true crime” novel about Ali turned into something more when he caught wind of “A”? Could Ezra be helping the Liars? Or is it too little too late? Can he ever convince Aria he was sincere?

Ezra did admit that he took his job at Rosewood High and pursued his relationship with Aria for the sake of his book, but he said his feelings for Aria are real. True love aside, we don’t see this ending happily for Ezria. Ezra lied, and in our books, that means game over.

What do you think, Pretty Little Liars fans? Does Ezra know about “A”? Sound off in the comments!
