Is Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario) heading to rehab for her Adderall habit on Pretty Little Liars? Her parents certainly seem intent on sending her in this sneak peek clip from Season 4, Episode 21 (“She’s Come  Undone”). What goes down in the Hastings family convo?

Well, what’s scarier than one Hastings parent with a goal? Two Hastings parents with a goal. In next week’s episode, Veronica and Peter Hastings have joined forces in an attempt to get Spence off of the pills and into rehab, and their combined stare is pretty scary.

“Somebody going on a trip?” Spencer asks at the beginning of the minute-long clip, joining her parents in the kitchen where luggage rests against the counter.

Spencer’s dad cuts to the point: “Yeah, your mother and I spoke with Dr. Griggs this morning, and he thinks it’d be best if we get you some help before the situation gets worse.” More specifically: a rehab facility in Philadelphia. As you may imagine, Spencer is not cool with this development, but her mother isn’t easily swayed...

“Sweetie, I know that you called his office impersonating me to renew your prescription,” Veronica tells her daughter.

Spencer’s explanation: “I just needed help getting through a couple of tests.” The ‘rents are not impressed; they’ve heard this before (aka the last time Spencer was addicted to pills, right before Ali disappeared). “Look, I admit that I lost control, but it’s not like last time,” Spencer insists. “I’ve only been taking the pills for a few weeks.”

Spencer’s parents want to know where she even got the pills without a prescription, but Spence doesn’t give any specifics: “Just, different people at school. It’s not that hard.” She returns the discussion to the point at hand, rehab: “Please, I’m still applying for colleges. I can’t have Radley and rehab on my record. All I’m asking is that you give me one chance to get off them on my own. Please.”

The clip fades before we can see the Hastings parentals answer, but we totally think they are going to cave. Not only because they not-so-secretly want Spencer to continue the Hastings family legacy and go to a prestigious school, but because we know Spence will be hanging with new guy Dean (Nathaniel Buzolic) in future episodes. We think he may be a compromise between Spencer and her parents: she doesn’t have to go to rehab, but she does have to let Dean help her. Those Hastings know how to haggle!
