According to the synopsis for the finale, the Liars “finally get all of the answers about what happened to Ali the night she disappeared.” It reads: “After years of questions and mystery surrounding the night Alison DiLaurentis disappeared, her four best friends come face to face with Ali and finally earn what really happened to her that September night.” Whoa. With so many unanswered burning questions from the past four seasons — like, why did Ali do anything that she did? — we’re intrigued to hear (from Ali herself!) about what actually went down that night.
We know there’s going to be an “epic” flashback scene between Ali and nerdy Mona during the March 18 finale. Will it lead to more answers? The synopsis concludes, “Now with their newfound knowledge of Ali’s long-held secrets, can Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer help Alison finally figure out who ‘A’ is?”
Marlene King has called Season 4 the “season of answers,” but would they really give away the biggest answer of them all in the finale? We hope so! After so many seasons spent speculating, it would be nice to finally know “A’s” identity. Then, Season 5 can follow the Liars and Ali as they try to bring him/her down.
Ian Harding recently teased that “lives may or may not be destroyed” in the finale. Could he be talking about Ezra? Ezra’s fate has always been precarious, but will Aria bring him down once and for all?
With so many questions to answer, our heads are spinning! Here’s hoping the Pretty Little Liars Powers That Be finally deliver us a finale full of (real) answers.
