We’re careening toward a hiatus, but the Pretty Little Liars cast and crew will soon be ending theirs. We’ve already seen the writers team get back to business, but soon the rest of the gang will join suit! Check out the photo evidence that Season 5 of Pretty Little Liars will soon start production.

“Hey #PLL fans: Look what I have! Prep starts tomorrow,” PLL director Norman Buckley captioned a photo of the as-of-yet untitled script for the Season 5 premiere. Showrunner Marlene King penned the script, and Norman will be directing, which is a good sign in our book. Not only has Norman churned out some of our favorite episodes — Season 4, Episode 4 (“Face Time”) and Season 3, Episode 15 (“Mona-Mania), to name a few — but he also keeps us updated with behind-the-scenes photos of props, scripts, and the actors hard at work.

It’s hard to predict what Season 5 might bring given that we’ve yet to see the entirety of Season 4, but Ian Harding (Ezra) has hinted that Pretty Little Liars will never be the same. Given that Season 4, Episode 24 is titled “‘A’ is For Answers,” andhas been teased with the hashtag “#AliTellsAll,” we’re predicting some major reveals.

Another Season 5 question mark is the possible return of Tyler Blackburn (Caleb). Since his spin-off, Ravenswoodwas canceled, there’s been some speculation that the actor and character might return to Pretty Little Liars. We’ve listed five reasons why we think this is a good idea, but there’s been no official word either way, so we’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed.
