We love all of Pretty Little Liars’ constant thrills and surprises, but at the end of every episode, it always seems as though we have more questions than answers — and that was especially true this week.

To that end, we’ve tackled the biggest questions from this week’s episode in order to figure out what’s really going on in Rosewood, and to pick up on any and all clues.

Here are 10 questions from Season 4, Episode 23: “Unbridled.”

1. Whose body is in Ali’s coffin and why is Mrs. DiLaurentis so opposed to it being opened?

We’re thrilled Detective Holbrook is finally going to open Ali’s coffin, although Mrs. D sure doesn’t seem as thrilled. As for who we think is in there, we’re betting on Sara Harvey, the girl from Season 4’s winter premiere. Did Mrs. D have something to do with Sara’s death and so she’s just making everyone think Spencer did it? That’s kinda what we’re thinking.

2. Who do the Liars spot when they’re tracking down Ali?

While at the address where Ali is supposedly staying, the Liars see an as-yet unidentified person whom they recognize. While this could theoretically be anyone, we’ve got a hunch it’s Noel, given that he’s coming back for the Season 4 finale. So has he been helping Ali and how long has he known she’s alive? If this is Noel, he and Ali are kind of an odd pair to be friends, no?

3. What’s in Mrs. DiLaurentis’s suitcase?

It certainly looks like Mrs. DiLaurentis is helping out “A,” as we see her handing over that suitcase in the woods. So what’s in that suitcase? We know Mrs. D has plenty of cash, so maybe she’s paying someone off?

4. Does Spencer have a twin?

Hearing Mrs. Hastings mention that Spencer appeared to have an evil twin makes us wonder if this really is the case. Granted, we’re pretty sure Spencer’s mom would know whether she gave birth to twins or not when she had Spencer but maybe Spencer is adopted? At any rate, Spencer having a twin makes sense, so we’re thinking Ali might not be the person with the twin after all.

5. Does Mrs. DiLaurentis know that Ali’s still alive?

Ms. Marin gets very suspicious of those clothes that Ali’s mom just bought. Does this mean Ali’s mom knows Ali is still alive or is there another explanation for the clothes? Maybe they’re for Ali’s twin? At any rate, we love that Mrs. D walks in on Hanna’s mom going through her stuff, and Hanna’s mom is like, “Don’t mind me I’m just rifling through your personal possessions. Nice weather we’re having, right?”

6. Where was Jason while he claimed to be in rehab?

They tried to make Jason go to rehab, and he said no, no, no. Or at least, the rehab center he claimed to be staying at doesn’t exist, according to Dean. So where has he been all this time? Jason is quick to defend his mom this week, so we’re wondering if he’s somehow working with her. Or is he helping Ali? And was Wilden really trying to kill him?

7. Does the last scene prove that CeCe isn’t “A”?

There’s no doubt that CeCe is sketchy. (Plus, the word “sketchy” kinda sounds like “CeCe.” You’re welcome for that solid clue.) But the fact that “A” calls the cops on CeCe seems to suggest that CeCe isn’t actually “A.” Or maybe CeCe had been helping “A” until they had a falling out? But where exactly is this Red Finch Inn? And shouldn’t CeCe be using a fake name, given that she’s wanted for Wilden’s murder? This is Living on the Lam 101 here, people.

8. Is the bowl of butterscotch some kind of clue?

At the end of the episode, “A” reaches for a bowl of butterscotch, which isn’t the first time we’ve seen butterscotch on the show. Earlier in Season 4, Detective Tanner takes some off of Ms. Marin’s desk and Mrs. Potter grabs some from Ms. Marin in Season 1. Is this a hint that either Mrs. M or Detective Tanner are working with “A”? Or does someone in the PLL props department just really have a soft spot for hard candy?

9. Can Travis be trusted?

We’re excited that Hanna and Travis kissed this week although it’s weird that the kiss took place after they watched that car accident. At any rate, Travis seems like a solid replacement for Caleb for now not that anyone can replace Caleb in our hearts, mind you but can we trust him? We’re still suspicious about that cut on his hand after he visited the girls at the cabin.

10. Are Emily and Paige dunzo for good?

It’s hard for us to decide whether we’re Team Paily or not, seeing as how they have so many ups and downs. And while we’re proud of Emily for taking a stand and ending things with Paige for now, we wonder if they’ll get back together eventually. Or perhaps the breakup will reignite Paige’s dark side. Translation: Em may want to avoid situations where she could become a potential drowning victim again in the near future.
