Can we talk about how amazing the casting of the Supernatural spin-off has been so far? We couldn’t have dream-casted Supernatural: Bloodlines (formerly Supernatural: Tribes) better ourselves. Which Pretty Little Liars alum has the show just added to its cast?

“Getting ready to head to #Vancouver to shoot #Supernatural spinoff #bloodlines w/ #PLL alums @onlyseanfaris and @natebuzz #PLLFamily #RT!!” PLL’s Bryce Johnson tweeted Wednesday, making even more of our TV dreams come true. Bryce may have been a total tool bag as the corrupt Detective Wilden on Pretty Little Liars, but that doesn’t mean we’re not excited to see him cast in the new Supernatural spin-off. He was creepily compelling as Wilden, and we can’t wait to see him take on a role in this cast already filled with actors from some of our favorite TV shows.

Also on the cast: The Vampire Diaries’ Nathaniel Buzolic and PLL’s Sean Faris. Somebody give this casting agent a raise! This means Kol Mikaelson, Detective Wilden, and Officer Holbrook are all on this one show. Where do we watch? Actually, we already have this information: the spin-off will first appear as a backdoor pilot (a la The Originals) as Supernatural’s Season 9, Episode 20 on April 29. Presumably, then the network will decide whether they want to issue more episodes past the pilot.

The CW seems to be all about spin-offs these days. After the success of The Originals, they are trying spin-offs for both Supernatural and Arrow. The latter will star another TVD alum — Rick Cosnett (Dr. Wes). There is much to look forward to in next year’s TV season! Though, hopefully, we’ll be getting some new original programming as well as spin-off of our favorite shows.

Are you as excited for the Supernatural spin-off as we are? Sound off in the comments below!
