Four years after her tragic death, actress Brittany Murphy’s final film, Something Wicked — co-starring Pretty Little Liars star Julian Morris (Wren) is scheduled to be released. According to The Huffington Post, the film will be released on April 4 in Eugene, Oregon, with a wider release in the Pacific Northwest and possibly more to follow.

According to its IMDB page, the film is about a young couple who, in planning their wedding, find that “gruesome secrets from their past collide with sinister forces of the present to ensure these newlyweds do not live ‘happily-ever-after.’” Yikes! Sounds spooky, and potentially good. In addition to Brittany and Julian, other actors appearing in the film include: Shantel VanSanten, John Robinson, and James Patrick Stuart.

Shortly after her death, Julian spoke briefly at an ABC press event for the short-lived TV show My Generation, about working with Brittany: “It was amazing to be with her, and you know I have a huge amount of respect for her and of course you know what happened was sudden and tragic and out-of-the-blue. She was a really great actress. She’d been in so many films that were great. She was so talented, so it’s tragic what happened.”

Brittany’s December 2009 death has been attributed to pneumonia, anemia, and multiple drug intoxications.
