We're torn. We definitely got some answers, which is great, and there was a lot of good in this episode. Sasha Pieterse (Alison) and Troian Bellisario (Spencer) were both amazing, portraying a wide range of emotions in both the present scenes and the flashbacks. There were a couple revels in Ali's story that totally blew us away: the fact that her mom is the one who buried her, and the fact that Mona was the one who convinced her to run away. The geeky Mona scene was amazing.

On the other hand, we felt like this episode was a bit of an info dump, which is frustrating — especially because we still have way more questions than answers. On top of that, the final scene, with Ezra's sacrifice, felt rushes to us, which took away from its impact.

Overall, we give it four stars.
