The Pretty Little Liars Season 4 finale is in the books, but it wouldn’t be PLL without the final episode raising more questions than answers. So, while fans will have to marinate a little before heading back to Rosewood for Season 5, we have good news: it won’t be too long until we get to go back to our favorite secret-filled Pennsylvania town.

The fifth season will begin airing on Tuesday, June 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT with its action-packed premiere. While the nearly three month break seems like too long to bear, it’ll only add fuel to our conspiracy theory-raising minds to have such a big break.

The premiere is still being shrouded in mystery (would you expect anything else?) but the season synopsis promises at least one big change.  “In the new season of the hit drama series, the PLLs must dodge their dreaded nemesis ‘A,’ while navigating a world with Alison back in it.”

With Alison back in the picture, the dynamic of the group will certainly change. Series creator Marlene King explains that it’s going to be a big jump from Season 4 to its new incarnation. At PaleyFest, she said "[Season 5] feels like a whole new show because there are five Pretty Little Liars now. It's going to affect them all individually. It's going to affect them as a group. It's going to affect their relationships with their young male and female partners. Season 5 is shaping up to be emotionally the most complex season we've had so far."

More emotionally complex than Spencer and Aria both going through full-on breakdowns? Consider us intrigued.

Pretty Little Liars returns on Tuesday, June 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT to ABC Family.
