As with any decent season finale, Pretty Little Liars Season 4, Episode 24 (“A is for Answers”) left many plots up in the air: Will Ezra survive the gunshot wound? Will the Rosewood PD find the Liars? What is Ali’s (Sasha Pieterse) next step? We’re guessing the Pretty Little Liars Season 5 premiere will pick up shortly following the end of the last episode, plunging back into these plotlines. Here’s one of our first looks at what will go down in the June 10 episode.

“Working on my Director’s cut for #PLL 501,” director Norman Buckley captioned the shot of one of the premiere frames on a television monitor. What’s going on in the shot? Alison is talking to a brunette -- possibly Aria? -- and she’s wearing the same outfit she was donning in the Season 4 finale. What might be going down in this scene?

Well, our first guess is that Aria might be splitting up with the other Liars, heading to the hospital with Ezra while the others try to help Ali get out of the city without either “A” or the police catching her first. After all, the episode is called “EscApe From New York.” There better be some attempted escaping!

If you enjoyed the extra Ali in the Season 4 finale, then it looks like the Season 5 premiere might be an episode for you. Many of the shots we’ve seen come out of the PLL production have included the mean girl runaway. Norman tweeted this shot of Sasha and Shay Mitchell (Emily) with their arms around one another on the final day of shooting. And, earlier that week, Ashley Benson (Hanna) shared this adorable photo of the Liars (sans Lucy Hale) falling asleep on one another after a 17-hour shoot. All Sasha, all the time!

Are you excited to see more Ali in the Season 5 premiere? What do you think is happening in the shot Norman shared? Sound off in the comments below!
