Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) isn’t one to do things halfway. The girl faked her death to evade her homicidal bully and spent more than a year on the run to keep ahead of “A” on

Pretty Little Liars.  You better believe her return to Rosewood will be just as dramatic and will, apparently, include the formation of multiple love triangles.

“Now that Alison’s returning, there’s a couple love triangles that could be swirling out there, and fans have been really pushing us to consider this love triangle between Ali, Paige, and Emily, so that’s something we’re thinking about,” executive producer Marlene King told Alloy Entertainment.

We knew Ali’s return would make things awkward for Paily. Heck, it has already caused their breakup and Alison hasn’t even crossed town borders! (Though, really, we attribute to Paige’s betrayal of Emily’s trust rather than Ali herself.) Pretty Little Liars writer Joseph Dougherty revealed that Paige would feel threatened by Ali’s return: “One of the reasons Emily is not the same person that she was when Alison left is because of her relationship with Paige. But, none of these dynamics are the same anymore. I think Paige is threatened.” Joseph also went on to call the dynamic between Ali, Paige, and Emily “arguably … the most interesting triangle of the season.”

But what of this other triangle Ali will cause? We’re guessing that refers to the complicated relationship between Hanna and Caleb, and Alison’s own relationship to Caleb. Marlene King told The Hollywood Reporter: "Tyler, Sasha, and I were talking about this — that Alison and Caleb have never met. That's a pairing we've never seen. He comes in knowing about this persona, this mythical figure Alison, and now he gets to meet her for real. That's going to be chemistry we get to see." There’s even rumors that Caleb and Ali may share a kiss. If this is true, then Ali. Paige, and Emily’s dynamic might have some competition in the most interesting triangle track.

Which love triangles do you think Ali will cause? How do you want them to play out? Sound off in the comments below!
