We know that we were promised more Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) in Season 5, but we weren’t quite sure if we believed it — until we started getting all of these behind-the-scenes snapshots of Sasha on set. This bodes well for plenty of Alison in Season 5. Check out the latest pic of the long-haired beauty.

“Sasha,” writer Joseph Dougherty simply captioned an Instagram shot of Sasha looking back at the camera on the set of Pretty Little Liars. The photo is in black-and-white, and Sasha has that knowing expression she does so well on her lovely face. We can’t wait to see much more of it in Season 5!

From the looks of the photo, Sasha is hanging on the set for Ali’s room, which means she is back in the DiLaurentis house in the room her mother kept in pristine condition — notably, without said mother, who was killed in the Season 4 finale. We wonder if this might be the episode that brings Mr. DiLaurentis back into the picture. He will be returning to Rosewood in Season 5 to take care of his daughter, now that he is the only parent she has left alive. But he doesn’t seem too keen on staying in the town. Marlene King told TV Line: “Her father comes home and wants to take her with him, and she has to explore this idea: Do I really want to stay here? Should I make a clean break? That’s all part of her journey.” Stay, Ali!

If Alison doesn’t stay for us, then perhaps she will stay for the multiple love triangles in which she will apparently be embroiled. Marlene told Alloy Entertainment: “Now that Alison’s returning, there’s a couple love triangles that could be swirling out there, and fans have been really pushing us to consider this love triangle between Ali, Paige, and Emily, so that’s something we’re thinking about.” With all of this potential drama on the horizon, it makes you wonder just how Sasha might be putting that knowing expression to use.
