We already know that Pretty Little Liars will bring a few of our favorite long-neglected characters back to the playing field, but what about the host of others we haven’t seen in what seems like forever? Here are the five characters we’d like to see make an appearance in Season 5

Jenna. With Alison back in town, we’re dying to see how Jenna reacts. We’re also interested to know if she knew that Ali wasn’t really dead. After all, she was almost drowned for information she supposedly had about Alison. And what’s the deal with Shana? Jenna seems to genuinely trust her, but Shana claims she just got close to Jenna for Alison’s sake. If that’s the case, we’re starting to feel really bad for Jenna. She’s made a lot of mistakes in the past, but this girl has been through a lot ever since (arguably, even more than the Liars). We’d like to check in and see how she’s doing.

Maya. We’re still hoping for one more miraculous resurrection, a la Ali’s return from the dead. Given that Noel Kahn helped both Ali and Maya after their disappearances, it’s not completely out of the question, right? Does Noel specialize in faking classmate’s deaths? Did he help Maya out of a tricky situation, too, by finding another body to pass off as her own? What? We can dream.

Wren. Writer Bryan Holdman said that Wren wouldn’t be back from London anytime soon, but we’d just like to put it out there that — despite Wren’s super shady behavior and questionable allegiances — he’s always welcome back on PLL. We blame it on the charms of Julian Morris. The actor’s too charming for his own good. Plus, we want to know how Wren fits into all of this — so the sooner he’s back in town, the better.

Dr. Sullivan. Let’s face it: the Liars have enough traumatic material to keep them in therapy for the rest of their lives. They might as well start now with a therapist who understands just how scary “A” is (even if she doesn’t realize that an “A” is still threatening the Liars). With “A” always on the offensive, it’s important to keep one’s self mentally healthy. And you better believe Ali could do with a therapist as she’s dealing with coming back from the dead and reintegrating into high school life.

Pastor Ted. Oh, Father Ted, how we miss you. There aren’t any particularly stirring narrative reasons for Pastor Ted to make an appearance on PLL Season 5, but we have a soft spot for the kindly preacher — especially after he bailed Ashley Marin out of jail last season. Seriously: best boyfriend ever. And Ashley could use a little happiness after the Season 4 she had.
