We didn’t see nearly enough of Jenna (Tammin Sursok) — aka Pretty Little Liars’ blind-again grump — in Season 4, but PLL might be making it up to us in Season 5. It looks like Jenna will be appearing in Season 5, Episode 9! Read on to find out more…
“Helping me learn lines for tomorrow. #jenna #pll,” Tammin captioned a snapshot of her adorable dog next to a script for Season 5, Episode 9 (“March of Crimes”). Um, can Tammin’s dog guest on PLL? Thanks! This is the second episode in which we will see Jenna featured in the upcoming season. The high schooler will also pop up in the much-anticipated 100th episode — sunglasses back in place, suggesting her blindness has again taken hold.
We haven’t seen Jenna since Season 4, Episode 9 (“Into the Deep”) when she was almost drowned at Emily’s surprise birthday party (emphasis on the surprise). It will be interesting to see her reaction to Ali’s not-deadness — especially because it was implied that Jenna knew Ali was alive even before we did. Was it Ali who tried to kill Jenna, to keep her quiet? And, if not, did Jenna keep her silence for her former frenemy when pressed for information about Ali’s disappearance? That would certainly cast a new light on their understandably antagonistic relationship. Could these two eventually be, if not friends, then allies?
With both Jenna and Ali back in town, we’re also wondering if Shana might make a return appearance. Shana, who got (really) close to Jenna per Ali’s orders, fled Rosewood when threatened by “A” at the end of Season 5. Will she back? And were the affections she had for Jenna completely fabricated or did they become real? We’ll be totally bummed if PLL doesn’t give us more information about this intriguing dynamic.
Are you glad to hear Jenna will be back in Episode 9? What do you think she’ll be up to? Sound off in the comments below!
