Mona (Janel Parrish) is building an army, but is it the army the Liars have come to fear over the past few seasons of Pretty Little Liars? Is Mona’s Army the “A” Team? Here are some points to consider...

Mona Was Once “A”

We’ve never been positive that Mona has let go of her grudge against the Liars. After all, she tormented them for two seasons that isn’t just something you get over once you’ve been caught. What are the odds of there being two vengeful bullies/antagonists willing to go to excessive lengths to torment the Liars? In Rosewood, one never can tell but it would make much more sense if this had somehow been Mona all along.

All of Those in Attendance Hate Ali

That We Hate Ali meeting was full of familiar faces and all of them characters we have suspected of being part of the “A” Team or even “A” before. Melissa. Paige. Lucas. If you were going to put together a team to take down Ali, this would be it. And, though Paige was ready to walk out at some point, everyone there seemed to at least consider the sure-to-be crazy suggestions Mona has in mind.

Many of Them Love the Liars

On the other hand, though many of those in attendance hate Ali, they love the Liars. Melissa loves Spencer. Paige loves Emily. And Lucas loves Hanna. Would they really sign up to harass and endanger the people they love, even if it meant getting revenge on Alison? We doubt it, and that is totally part of the “A” Team mission.

They Seemed to Just Be Forming

Another potential snag in the theory that Mona’s Army might be the “A” Team is that this group of people seemed to just be forming, which means they would not have been able to conduct any of the previous “A” Team missions already executed. Was this team already formed, and Mona was getting them together to specifically discuss Ali’s return? Or, perhaps, Mona is recruiting more members for an “A” Team that already exists? We may not have the answers to these questions, but one thing’s for sure: we need to find out more about Mona’s most recent initiative.

Do you think Mona’s Army is the “A” Team? Why or why not? Sound off in the comments below!
