Alison (Sasha Pieterse) may be back at home in Pretty Little Liars Season 5, Episode 2 (“Whirly Girl”), but she isn’t exactly getting a welcome party. Things between her and brother Jason (Drew Van Acker) seem tense. Check out this sneak peek for next week’s episode.

The clip starts with Jason texting on his phone outside the DiLaurentis house. We’ve probably been watching this show too long because the site of someone texting immediately stirs our suspicions and makes us wonder if he or she is part of the “A” Team. Texting hands where we can see them, Jason!

Ali walks out from her house, and Jason immediately gets pissed: “What are you doing? Ali, you can’t be out here. There is about 10 cars at the end of our street, alright? Press. police.”

As if Ali is worried about the press or police when she’s been dealing with “A” for these past few years. “I’m not twerking through town, OK?” Ali bites back, in what may become our favorite line of the episode. “I just wanted to sit on my porch.” The two sit in silence for a few beats before Ali addresses the elephant in the room: “You haven’t asked me many questions. How come?”

Jason shrugs: “Figured you might need your space.” That’s awfully considerate , and suspicious. Is Jason not asking any questions because he already knows the answers?

Ali has some questions of her own: “What was mom’s reaction when she found out I was still alive?”

Jason tells her: “She was stunned. What do you expect?”

Wow. That scene was icy. You’d think after years apart these two siblings might have more to talk about — or, at least, be a bit friendlier towards one another. Then again, their relationship has always been antagonistic. Still, we hope to get a few Jason and Ali scenes in Tuesday’s episode.
