The Liars are trying to cover their tracks in next episode of Pretty Little Liars. Will they be successful in convincing Ezra and Mona to stay quiet about Ali’s lie in Season 5, Episode 3 (“Surfing the Aftershocks”)? And what should they be doing in the wake of Mrs. DiLaurentis’ death and Ali’s return to Rosewood? Check out the Canadian trailer for the ep to find out just how many people are offering their opinions on these subjects!

Everyone seems to be back in next week’s episode: Ezra, Melissa, Mr. Hastings. It’s a regular Rosewood party! Though, not so much of the friendly variety. Melissa is using her loud voice to tell Spencer to stay away from the DiLaurentis family, but Spencer’s having none of it: “I’m related to parts of that family, and so are you,” she tells her big sister.

Meanwhile, Jason doesn’t seem to be having an easy time. “This is what it’s like to live in a haunted house,” he says in the trailer. Is he referring to Ali’s return, his mother’s death, or both? Poor guy. We’re glad Spencer is on his side.

Spencer is also on Aria’s side. The artsiest Liar is understandably still struggling to deal with Shana’s death at her hand. “I need to know that it didn’t happen: Shana in the theater,” Aria tells her friend, haunted by the events of the Season 5 premiere. Will talking to Ezra help? We see the two together in the trailer, presumably because Aria is checking in with her ex-boyfriend to ensure that he doesn’t spill the beans on Ali’s bold-faced lie: “Somebody’s got to go talk to him and make sure he keeps quiet about what really happened,” Spencer voices over in the trailer. Something tells us the Liars can count on Mr. Fitz.

Why do you think Melissa wants Spence to stay away from the DiLaurentis? Will Mona or Ezra expose Ali and the Liars’ lie? Sound off in the comments below!
