It’s lunchtime at Rosewood High and, in next week’s episode of Pretty Little Liars, the Liars are on the menu to be stared at, gossiped about, and generally made uncomfortable. How do they deal with being back under the high school microscope in Season 5, Episode 4 (“Thrown From the Ride”)? Read on to find out!

In this minute-long clip from the episode, Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), and Hanna (Ashley Benson) are trying their best to eat their lunch at an outdoor table without succumbing to the stares. Spencer argues this is better than the cafeteria, but Aria quips (in her very fine hat): “Not really. We’re still a freak show. Now, we’re just a freak show in natural light.”

Meanwhile, Hanna has a different metaphor to make: “I feel like we’re lobsters in a tank at a restaurant. You know, the ones that you stare at to see which one you want to eat?”

Spencer, bastion of logic tries to calm her friends down as Emily (Shay Mitchell) joins her crew. She tells Hanna “We’re not lobsters” and encourages Aria to “take a psychological selfie" and not let her paranoia get to her.

Aria opts out of the psychological selfie, totally freaked out by Mona and her army’s ever-watching eye: “She knows that we were in New York. She threatened Ali. What if she knows about Shana, too?” Aria asks. “How do you know that all of this isn’t all about Shana?” Apt questions, my dear. Mona could be knitting Aria a prison sweater as we speak.

Do you think the Liars should be worrying about Mona or is Aria over-reacting? Sound off in the comments below!
