The Canadians are at it again: pumping us up for the next episode of Pretty Little Liars with their stellar promo-making skills. What did we learn from the Canadian promo for Season 5, Episode 4 (“Thrown From the Ride”)? Read on to find out!

The 30-second preview begins with Aria logging onto a computer to find a request to chat from “Theatregirl.” She accepts, and the mysterious user messages: “If it was me, I could never forget. It would haunt me for the rest of my life.” Yikes! Does someone else know about Aria’s self-defense, accidental killing of Shana in that NYC theater, or is this someone who we’re already aware of knowing this crucial information? We’re thinking of Mona, of course. She’s already taunted Ali with knowledge of the events from the Season 5 premiere. Is torturing the Liars part of her campaign of terror?

Elsewhere in the promo, Emily reflects on Ali’s return while folding clothes in her bedroom: “I thought everything would feel like it did before, but it doesn’t.”

Meanwhile, Alison does go to that police-mandated medical exam we see her trying to avoid in this sneak peek. She’s wearing a hospital gown as she tells someone: “Once you know something, you can’t unknow it.” What secrets are you hiding, Ali?

Next, we see Paige telling someone that “People are preparing for Ali’s return and it’s not with flowers and ‘Welcome Home’ banners.” Who is she talking to? Emily? Mona? And if she still part of Mona’s Army?

In throwback to Season 3 shenanigans, Hanna is looking frightened in what looks like a dressing room. Did she sweep the room for snakes before entering? Is it Mona who is after her? In the next sequence, we see Mona telling someone: “If you’re not with me, you’re against me.” Yikes! Who is she talking to? And which allegiance will they choose? So much to look forward to in tomorrow’s episode!
