If you thought Holly Marie Combs was done making you cry as a broken-hearted Ella Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars, then you would be wrong. In this sneak peek for Season 5, Episode 10 (“A Dark Ali”), Aria (Lucy Hale) tries to comfort her mother in the wake of her broken engagement. How does she do?

In the minute-long video, Ella is getting tetchy with the banquet hall people as she tries to cancel her wedding venue from the comforts of the Montgomery family couch. (Wait, does this mean she’s staying with the entire family? Should we start shipping Bella?!) When the venue asks why she doesn’t want to reschedule, she tiredly snaps back: “Because I don’t need to book a banquet hall for a party of one.” You tell ‘em, Ella!

Aria cautiously enters the scene, mozzarella-and-pesto sandwich in hand, in the hopes Ella will eat something. She’s rather eat a self-pity sandwich. (Not judging. Just stating the facts.) “I should have seen this coming,” Ella tells Aria. “I was too old for him. I was too trusting.”

“Mom, this has nothing to do with your age,” Aria tells her mom. “This isn’t your fault.” Yeah! We’re Team Montgomery Women.

Ella is still unconvinced. “There were signs, Aria.” If it makes you feel any better, Ella. Pre-Season 5, Zack had us totally convinced.
