We have at least two more full seasons of Pretty Little Liars before we will discover how this story ends. Or do we? Troian Bellisario (Spencer) just took to Instagram to float a possible ending. What do you think? Could this series-ending speculation come true?

“Hey @imarleneking courtesy of @dirtytucson screenwriting professor we now have an ending to our show,” Troian captioned an image with the following PLL ender theory:

After 17 seasons [sic] of Pretty Little Liars, A is revealed and captured. The girls hug each other in a safe embrace, but are interrupted by the faint noise of a text. They read it aloud and stare into the distance, “It’s my turn, bitches -B.”

As far as series-enders go, this is a pretty great one. Sure, it leaves the Liars in a forever state of fear and paranoia, but it also leaves the story open for that Pretty Little Liars movie we’re so eager to see. We’re thinking this “B” is more patient than her predecessor. She leaves the Liars alone for a few off-camera years. Then, the PLL movie happens and she strikes! Big-screen chaos ensues! As a trilogy!

This theory that PLL will end with a movie isn’t without instigationLucy Hale(Aria) told E! Online: “I think we’d all like to see it wrap up with a movie… For all of the us, the dream would be to wrap it up with a film. I think that that would be cool.” Showrunner Marlene King told E! Online: "That's always been the ultimate goal, is that it ends its life in one medium and starts another life on film. I love that. Oh we want an in-theaters film! Big, big, big opening weekend, with all those Pretty Little Liars fans are coming out. It would be so much fun. And we'd get to do so much like big stuff too.” Well, then. It’s settled.
