We may not be getting a Pretty Little Liars Halloween special this year — because we’ll be getting a Christmas special, instead — but that doesn’t mean PLL won’t be a part of our Halloween celebrations. ABC Family just announced they will be airing a special fan appreciation program in October. What will this special entail?

According to The Wrap, the one-hour program will have the cast discussing the show’s highlights, as well as answering fan questions. Fans can submit questions by visiting the PLL Facebook page or by tweeting their questions with the hashtag #PLLHalloween. The special will air as part of ABC Family’s “13 Nights of Halloween”.

So, let us get this straight: not only are we getting a Christmas special, we’re also getting a Halloween, fan appreciation extravaganza?! Sounds great to us. We have to admit, as excited as we are at the prospect of a Christmas special, we are a teeny, tiny bit bummed that PLL is skipping the Halloween special this year. The holiday meshes so well with PLL’s tone, and Season 3, Episode 13 (“This Is A Dark Ride”) was one of our favorite Pretty Little Liars episodes of all time. Still, this is a nice consolation prize. You know us well, ABC Family.

Do you think a one-hour Halloween special is a good idea? What questions will you be asking? Sound off in the comments below!
