Are you ready for one of the best twists of the entire season in tonight’s episode of Pretty Little Liars? According to E! Online, the mystery drama will be throwing us an “awful and twisted” development that “harkens back to the first episode ever.” What might that entail?

The entertainment news outlet isn’t dropping any more clues, aside from the twist not involving someone having a sex change. So that narrows it down, we guess? Here are some potential twists.

Slumber party problems. One of the defining features of the pilot came in the flashback to the Liars’ sleepover the night Ali disappeared. Will tonight’s episode include a similar moment? If we were the Liars, we might avoid group sleepovers altogether.

Shoplifting shenanigans. Hanna has recently returned to her old hobby of shoplifting. So far, nothing has come of it (aside from a new top). Will Hanna’s destructive choices bear some criminal consequences in tonight’s ep?

Byron’s business. Another pilot flashback involved Aria and Ali stumbling upon Byron making out with his student, an affair that was used as blackmail material for Ali and eventually revealed to Ella by “A.” With Byron and Ella hanging out again in the wake of Ella’s failed engagement, will this plotline come back into play?

Maya mayhem. If we’re thinking really big, then we can’t help wonder (read: hope) if Maya won’t somehow come into play again. After all, we first met her character in the pilot ep when she moved next door to Emily. It was Noel Kahn who hid Maya in the weeks prior to her murder. With Noel back in town and talking to the Liars, will Maya come up?

Woman in the window. In the first ep, Spencer thinks she sees Alison in the then-former DiLaurentis house window. Will Spencer catch another glimpse of a blonde Ali lookalike in tonight’s episode? Yes, we’re still waiting for the other shoe to drop on this twin theory.

Another body. It doesn’t seem like it’s time for another Rosewood murder, but you never do know on this show. In the pilot, a body was found in the DiLaurentis’ yard. The body was thought to be Ali’s, but now we know it was actually Bethany Young’s. Will the twist in tonight’s episode have to do with this major scene?

What do you think the twist in tonight’s episode will be? Sound off in the comments below!
