Mona (Janel Parrish) may be dead, but she's far from gone from Pretty Little Liars. Not only will be featured in a ton of flashbacks, the way Ali used to be, but she'll also be playing a very special part in the upcoming Christmas special.

In a recent interview with TVLine, Janel explained that not only is she still a regular cast member, but in the Christmas episode Mona is going to have "a fun part. She’s going to be the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future. She gets to mess with Alison, and in a fabulous costume, I might add."

Um, yes please! Based on that, it sounds like this Christmas episode is going to have a bit of a  Christmas Carol twist. If you don't know, in the classic Dickens tale — which has been referenced in all sorts of pop culture over the years — the unlikable Ebenezer Scrooge is shown an outside perspective of himself in the past, Christmas this year, and then his future, all of which is very depressing and ends up convincing him to change his ways. Will Ali go through a similar process and realize she needs to shape up before she loses all of her friends?

What do you think of Mona's Christmas role? Cool, or weird? Sound off in the comments below!
