Are you in the mood for some juicy spoilers about Pretty Little Liars? PLL showrunner Marlene King chatted with The Insider and gave them the scoop on what we can expect later this season. Believe us, you don’t want to miss this breaking news update!

On “The Jason (Drew Van Acker) Thing”: “You’ll find out what ‘The Jason Thing’ is in the season finale. You will actually find out a lot of answers to a lot of the questions fans have about him.”

On the Jaria and Ezria love triangle: “You have to have some sort of conflict. They can't be constantly perfect. But the love triangle will be resolved by the end of the summer season. That’s not to say it can’t be reintroduced in the next 12 [episodes] because there is a definite connection between Jason and Aria (Lucy Hale).”

On the summer finale: “There is a huge Ezra (Ian Harding)/Ella (Holly Marie Combs) moment in the summer finale — it's kind of major. I think the bell tower asked a lot of questions, while this finale answers a lot of questions.”

On the winter premiere: “After the finale, we'll come back in the winter but one month will have passed in Rosewood. And let me tell you, a lot happens in that month. Fans will be playing catch-up in the winter premiere because the girls didn’t go off on their own. Life continued on and it's going to leave fans going, 'What?!? What?!? What?!?' The winter episodes are going to make season one look like bubble gum. Seriously, it’s really kick ass.”

On “A”’s big reveal: “Originally we talked about not giving up who ‘A’ is until the very end of the show, but now we’re thinking it might be fun to move that up and reveal who it is much sooner.”

On the Halloween episode: “It takes place on the Halloween before Alison went missing and it is very much her story. We find out why Alison (Sasha Pieterse) picked these girls to be her friends, what she’s getting from them and what they’re getting from her. Once you see it, you’ll understand why we're calling it ‘The First Secret.’ It shows you many people’s first secret on the show.”

On “The Ian Thing”:Ian (Ryan Merriman) didn’t know Aria at that time, but, we came up with a fun way to get him in the episode. Unbeknownst to each other, Aria and Ian did meet before they met in the pilot. It’s almost like a Where’s Waldo kind of thing.”

We assume Marlene means that Ian is dressing up as Where’s Waldo for Halloween. In that case, this special episode has Wetpaint Entertainment’s seal of approval!
