The residents of Rosewood may not be safe, but  Pretty Little Liars’ ratings sure seem to be.

More than 2.4 million of you tuned into Season 3, Episode 23: “I’m Your Puppet” last night to watch Spencer (Troian Bellisario) join the “A” team. This gave the teen drama a 1.0 rating in the coveted 18-49 demo, and second place in original cable broadcasting for the night.

The penultimate episode of the season finished first again in both the women 18-34 and the women 18-49 audiences. Perhaps most impressively, the show finished first in the females 12-34 and female teens demographics for the tenth consecutive week in the row — that’s every week since PLL’s winter premiere!

These numbers do not take into account the substantial boost from DVR viewing, which raised the viewing total more than a million (from 2.7 million to 3.8 million) and increased viewing percentage by more than 40 percent. Way to go, Little Liars!

As the most tweeted about show in the Twitter-sphere (the episode drew more than 400,00 tweets), PLL earned Tuesday’s “Most Social” series honors. It was hard to keep Spencer’s betrAyal and the discovery of another dead body in Rosewood to ourselves!
