People have often joked that there should be a musical episode of Pretty Little Liars, and for good reason — the cast is seriously talented! Sasha Pieterse (Alison DiLaurentis) just released a new single, a country tune called "The Country Is Bad Ass," but she's hardly the first Pretty Little Liars stars to make a foray into music.

For fun, we've rounded up the PLL cast's most impressive musical accomplishments.

Lucy Hale (Aria): Many fans know that Lucy has a serious set of pipes. She actually got her start on American Idol spin-off American Juniors, which she won. With performances like this, it's no surprise. Although she has since focused on acting, Lucy continues to love music, and she's working on her own country album.

Tammin Sursok (Jenna Marshall): Tammin has arguably the most impressive musical career of any PLL cast member, as she was a bona fide Australian pop star. Her first single, "Pointless Relationship," was a Top 5 hit in Australia, and her first album,Whatever Will Be debuted at No. 13 on the Australian Top 50 chart.

Janel Parrish (Mona Vanderwall): Janel is a singer-songwriter as well as an actress, and got her start as a child on Broadway, with a part in Les Miserables. In 2007 she released a single, "Rainy Day," a song which she wrote. She returned to her musical theater roots during the break between PLL Seasons 2 and 3 with a role in Spring Awakening.

Tyler Blackburn: Tyler has a single, "Find a Way," and even filmed a music video for his song "Save Me," which was featured on the web series Wendy. His song, "It All Comes Down To You," was most recently featured in Season 4, Episode 7 of Pretty Little Liars

Torrey DeVitto (Melissa Hastings): Torrey is a serious violin player, and lent her talents to  Raphael Saadiq's album Ray Ray 2004, as well as Stevie Nicks's 2011 album In Your Dreams. Impressive!

Keegan Allen (Toby Cavanaugh): Someone get Keegan a record deal! The actor plays the piano and the guitar, and oh yeah, he sings really well too. Just listen to one of his many Lana Del Rey covers

Nia Peeples (Pam Fields): It isn't just the youngsters who have musical backgrounds. Nia Peeples has released four albums over the course of her career, and in 1991 her single "Street Of Dreams" hit #12 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Diego Boneta (Alex Santiago): Maybe they can bring Alex back for an episode if a musical episode ever does happen, because Diego has major musical chops. He has released two albums, Diego and Indigo, and starred in musical film Rock of Ages alongside Julianne Hough and Tom Cruise.

Troian Bellisario: That's right — Troian isn't just a talented actress and writer, she also sings! Prepare your emotions for Troian's rendition of “Skinny Soul” by Aneurysm June with PLL co-star and real life friend Shane Coffey!
